Supplementary to our test handling systems

As an in-house accessory to our test handling systems, KABTEC offers products around transport and logistics of the assemblies to be processed.

Modular conveyor belts offer manual access to the processed assemblies so that rapid intervention between the steps of procedure – pre- and post-testing – can take place, if required. In addition, the cycle can be decoupled from the preceding or following module and thus acts as a buffer.

In addition to the pure conveyor belt module, the scanner belt module is equipped with a technology for identifying the incoming test specimens. Depending on the process requirements of your application, KABTEC offers a variety of solutions, e.g. for capturing all barcodes of all test specimens in the panel at once or one specific barcode among many on one test specimen.

The test specimens leaving the test cell are marked by marking stations. Different methods such as stamping, labelling or laser marking are available for this purpose. KABTEC implements these processes not only for single PCBs, but also for multiple uses.

All these modules provide space for 19'' technology in the substructure. When retrofitting a connected test handling system, these modules can adapt fully automatically to the new application via adapter coding.
