Temperature controlled-testing
KABTEC AG: Realized systems for temperature-controlled testing of power semiconductors
Temperature-controlled testing is playing an increasingly important role, especially in the field of electromobility.
In the following projects, the tasks were implemented in a process-oriented manner.
Dynamic testing
In the inline test station, the test assemblies are gradually heated up to the required target temperature, then tested, cooled down and transferred to the next station.
Robotic test cell Burn-In Test
The robotic test cell is designed for cycle time-optimized testing.
The test assemblies, which are fed in individually via conveyor belts, are distributed to individual storage nests by robots. The parallel distribution of the assemblies ensures significant time savings compared to classic inline applications. In order to further optimize the process, the individual stacking nests also perform various tasks. In the preheating stations, the test assemblies are heated to the required temperature in a controlled manner. In the test stations, the temperature is maintained and the electrical assembly test is carried out. In the last stations, active cooling enables the assemblies to be ejected again quickly.
